Problem With Igniting the Flame

If you're having issues getting your Floating Flame to light please try the below steps:

  • Ensure the propane tank is full, tank valve is on and Floating Flame valve is on high. You should hear gas flowing out from the burner.
  • Ensure the battery is installed in the igniter and is not dead. You should hear and see the spark next to the burner.
  • Ensure there are no loose or broken wires on back of igniter box. A wire could have rattled loose during shipping. Press the igniter button and check that the spark is at the electrodes next to the burner and not at the back of the igniter box.
  • Ensure the screws that hold down the igniter probes are tight. If these rattle loose during shipping it can cause a poor ground and not give an antiquate spark.
  • Ensure the rocks are installed in the burner box. Without the rocks the flame will not light properly.
